WinterKnights: A BBC Merlin Winter Holiday Fest!

Welcome to our unprecedented fifth and final weekly summary, thank you so much to everyone who has participated in the fest!

Sadly, we have now come to the end of the entries for 2019, so here's your chance to get caught up on some of the wonderful creations you might have missed being posted in the first week of 2020. After years of Merlin prattling on about getting a cat, Arthur gets Merlin a kitten for Christmas, which Merlin promptly names 'Aithusa'. He was not at all, however, prepared for how quickly he falls in love with the tiny furball himself.

Summary: After being outed on national TV, Arthur goes to a remote Hebridean with his band mates for New Year's Eve, to avoid the paparazzi. At the same time, he hopes to discover more about his mother's origins. But he soon finds that blond hair and nice knees alone don't open any doors on Hogmanay. In which Arthur calls Merlin names. They argue and he learns that yes, there is a dance called the Gay Gordons, and no, perhaps disappointingly, it doesn't mean what he thought it meant.
