WinterKnights Starts in TWO DAYS!

winterknight begins in TWO days (on December 1) and we've already received some fabulous entries!



Here are a few mod notes to help the fest run as smoothly as possible!

Posting:

Submissions will be posted anonymously, by winter_mod with reveals occurring in the New Year.

So far we have received enough early submissions to post for at least a couple of weeks, but we'd love to be able to share at least one or two holiday/wintery offerings each day through-out the month of December, so please keep all the winter/holiday creations coming!

We plan to post to both LJ and AO3. (If you would prefer that we post to only one or the other, please let the mods know.) We've set up an AO3 collection for the fest. You can submit your fics to the collection and they will be marked as anonymous and unrevealed until the mod's post them for you! If you need help posting to AO3, please let the mods know!

Submission Info:

Here are a few things that will make the mods' jobs easier as we receive submissions:

- Please send your submissions to: winterknightsfest at gmail.com

- Include your name in the email subject as well as 'fic' or 'art'.

- Include your header in both the .doc and the email.

- Please place an lj-cut tag in your story.
The lj-cut text should be "The Title of your Fic". < lj-cut text="FIC TITLE" >

- Check the formatting of your fic to ensure there are manual line breaks between paragraphs.

- Include all other other html coding that is needed. You may want to test post your submission in a private entry to your journal before submitting to be sure that the coding is correct.

- The fic/art header appears below.

Extensions
If you have not yet requested an extension and we have not received your submission, please contact us to let us know if you still plan to participate! Of course, if you need to, you can definitely still arrange an extension! We want this fest to be as laid back and less-stressful as possible, so we're happy to work with you if you need more time! Late Sign-Ups

Even if you haven't signed up and you'd still like to participate, give us a shout to work out a fair deadline to join us! It's only 500 words and we happily accept art (pencil, painting, digital, etc.), photo manipulations, graphics, handmade crafts (holiday ornaments, dolls, cake decorating, etc), podfic, fanmixes, and more!



It's shaping up to be a fantastic fest! Thank you to everyone who has signed up and supported the community and fest! We are looking forward to all your fabulous creations and we are so excited to share all the holiday cheer with you starting on December 1!
